Welcome home Landon!

On Monday Landon came home for the first time to meet Breck and Jami. Breck instantly started licking his face and Jami scolded him right away. It was pretty funny to see how Jami is already protective of her baby brother...

However, last night was a long night as Landon decided to test out his lungs every hour from 12 - 7 a.m. Needless to say, Allie and I are exhausted right now and hopefully we can get some rest this afternoon.

Meet your little brother

Jami came by the hospital this morning to meet her little brother Landon. She was instantly obsessed with him and insisted in giving him his "binky" to settle him down.

It is official Landon has 2 Moms to deal with...

I have posted more pictures of Jami & Landon on our site.

Welcome Landon Scott Sullivan!

Landon Scott Sullivan

Born: November 24th, 2007 at 12:12 a.m.
Weight: 7 lbs. 14 oz.
Height: 21 1/4 inches

Happy Birthday Landon!

Dr. Feelgood

Dr. Bob just came by and gave Allie her epidural and it is good to see her out of pain. I have to admit that the needle that they put in her back was the length of a samurai sword. I hate needles!!!

Dr. Christensen came back and broke Allie's water and now it is just going to be some time while we wait for her to progress further. In the meantime I will keep the updates coming...

Hopefully we will have some great news to share later this afternoon!

Today is the big day!

We checked into Avista hospital this morning around 7:30 to start the induction. The doctor administered a cervical gel to get the contractions going and now they are really kicking in... The doctor is coming back around 10:30 to check Allie's progress to see how things are progressing and will give her the epidural before breaking her water.

It is certainly a lot more comfortable being a guy in this situation... More to come!

Run Ralphie Run!

Today Jami and I went with Tucker, Teddy, and Cece to go see the unveiling of Ralphie 5 the latest buffalo to roam the sidelines at CU games. We had a great time and it was an event that really catered to the families and supporters of CU football.

Jami and Teddy were all fired up for Ralphie!

Teddy and Jami hammin' it up for the cameras again...

Giddy Up!

On Saturday Jami had a first hand experience being a cowgirl and riding a horse. She had a great time and I am sure we are going to hear about it every time that we pass a ranch with horses.
Now one of my biggest fears is that Jami really will ask for a pony for one of her birthdays!

Here we go Steelers! Here we go!

I realize that this is suppose to be a blog about the latest happenings with the Sullivan family, but I could not help but share my excitement after watching last night's game between the Steelers and the Ravens. I barely had enough time to finish my first beer before Ben was throwing his 5th touchdown pass to go up 35-0 before halftime. Big Ben looked awesome last night and I have to admit that I was very nervous when he went down on the sidelines after taking a hit. However, the man of the game had to be undrafted free agent James Harrison! Harrison had the greatest game that I have ever seen from a defensive player on the Steelers. He was a complete beast on the field and consistently embarrassed one of the best offensive lineman in the game Jonathan Ogden.

However, if you are a true Steeler fan then you certainly knew about Harrison when he body slammed the Cleveland Browns fan into the ground a few years ago...

Landon arrival update

On Friday, Allie found out from her doctor that they are going to induce her a week earlier and it appears that the new due date is November 24th. We are really excited about the news that it has been bumped up and in my opinion it could not fall at a better time especially after the Thanksgiving holiday.

This past weekend Allie and I went to Vail to celebrate her 30th birthday and to get away for some relaxation in the mountains. It was a great weekend and it was nice to get some downtime before Landon arrives. Allie spent some quality time in the spa and I spent a majority of my time bellied up to the bar drinking Miller Lites and watching college football.

Thanks Annie for watching Jamison over the weekend!

Look out Microsoft

Interesting article today in the USA Today about Google passing up P&G and Bank of America as the 5th most valuable U.S. company. It is hard to believe that a company that is not even 10 years old has experienced an unprecedented growth pattern. Plus, the great news for shareholders (like myself) is that the stock passed the $700 mark and is up 48 percent over the last 12 months.

It is certainly an exciting time to be a part of the Google train!
